FORGOT YOUR DETAILS?

Advancing Social Justice

Through various community engagements, OUDC facilitates critical dialogue to propel change toward social justice and promote young people as key assets in the movement. Since 1993, our Fellows and staff have facilitated hundreds of workshops in the DMV. OUDC provides tailored social justice workshops and facilitated conversations for people of all ages on a number of topics. With the collaboration and the input of the requestor, workshops are student-led with the support of OUDC staff. Consider bringing our young leaders to your house of worship, school or community group to lead a conversation with your group.

Advancing dialogue about racism, anti-Semitism, discrimination and equity is a cornerstone of OUDC's work, and we do not charge a fee to facilitate these conversations. However, we do request that you consider making a tax-deductible donation to OUDC to support is ongoing work to empower the next generation of social justice leaders. Suggested contributions, depending on the length and number of facilitations, start at $200 per session.

Interested in hosting a facilitated dialogue? Click here to fill out this form to tell us more about your needs. We ask that you submit your request as early as possible, but please allow a minimum of one month for us to curate a workshop that caters to your needs. Our team will respond to your request within a week of receipt. We do our best to accommodate everyone's request given the high level of interest in our work. Completing the form is not a guarantee that we will be available to meet your needs.
